Lasting Change

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps you reprocess painful memories and shift deeply rooted negative beliefs. As a certified EMDR therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training (CIT), I’ve seen how this method neutralizes emotional triggers and opens the door to real, lasting change.

What is EMDR?

EMDR helps you reprocess painful memories and shift deeply rooted negative beliefs. It’s widely recognized for its effectiveness in trauma, anxiety, grief, and performance challenges.

Why EMDR intensives?

While weekly therapy creates steady growth, intensive sessions give you the opportunity to focus deeply on one issue in a condensed timeframe. In just a few hours, we can often accomplish what might otherwise take months.

Clients often choose intensives when they want:

  • Relief from a specific traumatic memory
  • A breakthrough around anxiety, grief, or burnout
  • Faster progress on long-standing patterns

Change therapy

My approach

I blend insight-oriented talk therapy with targeted change techniques, such as EMDR and ART. Together, we’ll:

  • Explore past experiences and current behaviors keeping you stuck
  • Shift self-beliefs and body responses that no longer serve you
  • Learn how your nervous system works—and how to calm it
  • Build emotional resilience and strengthen your sense of self
  • Develop tools and strategies for work, school, or relationships

I call this Change Therapy because we’re not just talking about what’s wrong—we’re actively creating transformation.

3-hour intensive sessions

Rapid Relief. Lasting Change.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or painful memories—and want relief fast—a 3-hour EMDR intensive may be exactly what you need. Unlike traditional therapy, which is spread over months, intensive sessions allow us to work deeply and focus on a specific issue in a single session, often producing significant breakthroughs in just a few hours.

What to expect

EMDR is structured, trauma-focused, and not talk therapy. Using guided eye movements and visualization, we help your brain reprocess distressing memories and resolve emotional triggers. You remain fully awake and in control at all times—this is not hypnosis.

  • You do not need to tell your whole story
  • There is no homework
  • A brief mental review of the memory (10–15 minutes) helps set the stage—you share as much or as little as you choose
  • Rapid eye movements and visualization help your brain replace distressing images with ones that feel calm, safe, or empowering

The facts of your memories stay intact—but the emotional pain attached to them? That’s where the real change happens.
